NOTE: We have SSL certificates starting from $49.99/yr. If you are paying more YOU ARE PAYING TOO MUCH!
Visit our SSL page for a better SSL solution and price.
The first part of enrolling for your InstantSSL Certificate is to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR). CSR generation is wholly dependent on the software you use on your webserver. Select your webserver software from the list below after reading the following general points:
General Points to remember before creating your CSR:
- The Common Name field should be the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) or the web address for which you plan to use your Certificate, e.g. the area of your site you wish customers to connect to using SSL. For example, an InstantSSL Certificate issued for hyperconx.net will not be valid for fortress.hyperconx.net. For instance if the web address to be used for SSL were to be fortress.hyperconx.net, ensure that the common name submitted in the CSR is fortress.hyperconx.net.
Attention HyperConX Customers: You do not need to use these instructions. You will find the simple instructions for generating a certificate for our servers by clicking on the Help button in the Domain Control web hosting panel.
InstantSSL Certificates are compatible with all webserver software. If your webserver software does not appear on the above list, please contact Technical Support with full details of your webserver software and we will contact you with further instructions.
